  1. Unable to open the file to get icon!
  2.  
  3. Memory is getting low!  Try closing some windows and submitting the request again or quitting and increasing IconBOSS' memory partition (via Get Info ).

  5. The icon was not found in the database!
  6.  
  7. Can't get path to Desktop Database ( to retrieve the file's icons ).

  9. Sorry, but IconBOSS requires System 7.0 or greater.

  11. Sorry, but IconBOSS requires Color QuickDraw (currently a setting of 256 colors is required).

  13. Sorry, but IconBOSS currently requires the Monitors Control Panel setting to be at 256 colors.

  15. In order to save the custom icon you must have a large black & white icon defined.  To quickly do so, simply drag from a currently defined icon onto the large 1-bit icon area. (To be safe, you may want to do the same for the small black & white icon.)
